In addition to Vela Plaža, there are about thirty other beaches in Baška that you can reach on foot or well-hidden beaches that you can reach by boat. What will make your every visit to Baška truly unforgettable is a walk to the "Plateau of the Moon". The "Path to the Moon" promenade will bring you to one of the most famous locations in Baška, which offers a unique experience of a natural phenomenon, integrated into a historical landmark and tourist attraction. Near Baška is the town of Jurandvor, where the Bašćanska ploča was found, the most important monument of Croatian written heritage written in Glagolitic script.
