Rabac is a small town on the sea. It is a quiet and safe place intended for family tourism. It doesnt have any historical monuments except small church near the sea. It has the most beutiful beaches in Istria. Our recommendation is to go on one-day trip organized by the touristic agencies in Rabac, on the nearby island of Cres. Also you can rent boats and go to the nearby villages near the sea like Marina, Prtlog, Ravni, Plomin. 5 km from Rabac is situated Labin. Our recomandation is to visit the old town because it has many historical places to visit like museum, gallery, church, belfry and also good restaurants. It has markets like Lidl, Plodine, Konzum. Nearby places worth visiting are: 1) Pula, 45km from Rabac - its a historical town with a rich cultural heritage under the influence of the Roman Empire: arena, golden gate, forum, temple of Augustus. Near Pula is a national park Brioni. 2) Rovinj, 50 km from Rabac - it has a famous churc of Saint Eufemia 3) Porec, 60 km from Rabac- The most significant and valuable cultural historical site in Porec is Euphrasian Basilica . It represents the best preserved monument of early Byzantine art in the Mediterranean.
