Neighbourhood information

Tkon is a typical fishing village and port, and it is also called the "gate of Kornati". It is located on the southeastern part of the island Pašman, and the municipality also occupies the area of 13 nearby islets. The most important activity of Tkon is the fishing of clams (kunjke) in the Pašman channel, which got its name from Kun, which is the local name for Tkon. When visiting Tkon, you will certainly be charmed by the natural sandy beaches: Vruljice, Zmorašnja, Raja and Poljane (with a big summer beach party). Zaklopica bay is a paradise for adventurers, sailboats and yachts. During your stay in Tkon, you can also attend some traditional events, such as "Đir po konal", a regatta that gathers lovers of traditional wooden boats, or "Fishermen's Night".
