Our apartments are situated in Zaglav, a small village in the southern part of the island Dugi otok. Both of apartments have separate entrance on the first floor in our house. The house is located in an attractive and secluded position, not far from the beach. Surrounded by greenery and beautiful island unspoiled nature, it provides unforgettable holidays in peace and quiet.

Hi! :) I am Milivoj, your future host. I was born in a small village Zaglav on Dugi otok island. What to say about myself? ...I was sailing over ocean-going ships. I have traditionally been engaged in fisheries and agriculture for domestic needs and I worked in the "Dugi otok and Zverinac Communal Society." I am hosting since the 90's. So I got friends around the world and, in some way, enriched myself spiritually. Now, when I have health problems, my son Robert (born in 1992.) helps me with it a lot. He is a professor of Croatian language and literature and specifically explores Chakavian speeches and traditional culture from Dugi otok, working on the Zaglav (and Dugi otok) speech dictionary. We adore our island and want that others enjoy that pleasure too. You know one saying, "No Man Is an Island" (John Donne). I fully agree with that, and you? I think we all need to work bridges between each other (if we are "islands") so the world will become a much better place to live. Come and explore our (still) "undiscovered" island and beauty of it's breathtaking nature as well as crystal clear & clean sea in Zaglav's bay and around from our lovely apartments! :)

We are located in one of the best places within Dugi otok island with breathtaking view, clean, tranquil and exceptional neighbourhood with access to almost everything you need during your vacation. In Zaglav you can find 3 restaurants, grocery market, diving school, volleyball and basketball court, small playground for children, only gas station on whole island - all that in the walking distance from our apartment! You can visit old part of village uphill with it's old stone houses and Franciscan monastery & church of St. Michael dating back to the 15th century. The apartment is 5 minutes drive far away from Nature Park Telašćica with its beautiful salt lake Mir and breathtaking cliffs. On Dugi otok you can also visit Lighthouse Veli Rat with heavenly view, one of most beautiful sandy beaches in Croatia - Sakarun, then - in our opinion even more beautiful - beach Veli Žal, Cave Strašna peć and many more hidden bays and beaches. Also, I would recommend exploring island, there are gorgeous beaches, hidden caves, bays, excursions to National park Kornati, whole day trips with boats...
