Pitve is located in the heart of the island Hvar and it's the oldest stone village on the island. It's perfectly situated on the road that connects north and the south of the island which makes it a great starting point for visiting all parts of the island. It's small village with around 50 people. Everything here is slower, more quiet and peaceful. Our stone house is a part of family Marijan heritage and it was build in 1811. and it was a birth place of my grandfather and my father. It's tall walls, doors and ceilings give her grace and indicate that family were landowners. Today, my husband and I completely renovated the house (winter 2023) creating 2 separate holiday homes. During the renovation we took great attention to the details, keeping the houses charm, it's spacious rooms, old doors and preserving the spirit of rustically. One holiday home is on the first floor it has it's own terrace with a sea and patio view, small garden and a outside hot tub. Other holiday home, more modest, is in the ground floor, it was once a „konoba“ and has beautiful 30 m2 terrace.

We are a couple living in a city of Rijeka, port in the north of the Adriatic. Because of our work we don't have much time to enjoy the island, but we use every free moment to visit our family in Hvar. We traveled a lot in recent years and we decided to provide you with accommodation that we would choose for ourselves. So we put our heart into making it a place that makes you feel at home. My father Vjeko and mother Josipa, who live in the house, make their own wine and olive oil, they have their own garden with all natural and bio products that you can try. My father is also great in making barbecue so he will be happy to prepare it for you. Considering that my parents live in the house there are at you service if you need and help. If you are looking for a place to unwind from everyday stories, a place to fall in love again, as we did, this is a place for you.

Only 3 km away there is a small seaside town Jelsa where you can find bars, shops, market, restaurants, bank.. Beach is also 3 km away on the north side of the island and 5 km away on the south. 200 m away there is one of the best restaurants in the island with typically dalmatian food. The parking is nearby and it's private.
