Our property is one of the first guesthouses in this area. We started small, with 2 apartments. Later, we built another apartment with intention to expand. Since 2007 we are successfully hosting guests from all over the world. What really makes us proud and happy is the fact that our old guests, which stayed here 6, 7 or even 8 years ago, return to our property. I would say that hospitality is the main reason why our property is so special. We will happily answer to all of your questions and help you with anything you want. Everything at our family estate is available for your use From BBQ service to fresh fruits and vegetables which we grow in our garden, everything is available at any time and for free. Every guest will be offered with drinks, cupcakes and many other things.

I am a teacher in the local elementary school for childer from 6-10 years. Besides my 22 students, I have 4 of my own children which are all grown up. I like traveling but it is impossible due to my busy schedule. Regardless of that, I always find time for my family and my guests, expecially for children who make me very happy. I also like animals who are always welcome on our property. The little free time I get, I spend on reading and also a bit of gardening. I grow eco fruits and vegetables which are available at guests disposal for free. I am at your service 24 hours a day and will do the most I can for you. :)

Rakovica boasts a beautiful landscape, pristine nature, and has an air of uniqueness. It is located only a few kilometres from the world-renowned Plitvice Lakes National Park, at its northern entry point. Other thing you can sightsee are the famous Barac caves, the Old Town Drežnik and the Mlinica trail, the watermill village Rastoke and many more. Some of the fun activities you can try are rafting on river Korana or Mrežnica, biking on special bike routes, off-road driving, paintball and horse riding. There are many restaurants and coffe shops as well as some night clubs in the area.
