Hi there. This is really a unique place. First of all because of the location. Some will say "In the Middle of Nowhere" but this offers peace, rest and beauty. Second because of our history. This Camp/ Youthhostel has been a youth project for local Croatian, Serbian and Bosnian youth making it a known place for the whole municipality and area. You are not only welcomed at our Hostel and Camp but by the whole area.

We work with volonteers so please be nice to us. As a family we live for most if the time in the Netherlands. I am Dutch and my wife is Bosnian. We have three kids, born in Bosnia and Croatia. We speak Dutch, Croatian, Bosnian, Serbian... ha ha ha, and even English. I am a professor IT in the Netherlands for highschool pupils and have been a youthworker for more than 30 years. The project ("Projekt Duga") has been a missionary project based on Christian/BIblical believes which inspires me in all that I am doing.

Being in "the Middle of Nowhere" makes it a challenge to organize your trip. We rent out a car and options to rent a car are fairly good in Croatia in general. There is some public transport and even a busstop in front of our house. Our neighbours are friendly and always willing to help out or to welcome you. With one houre drive to Plitvica but one minute walk to the forrests of Petrova Gora makes this a challeging and beautifull place.
