La Dorada is the ideal place to relax and enjoy nature. Forget the crowds and be hosted among local people in the beautiful village of Trsteno where is located the famous "Arboretum" a renaissance park with a botanical garden. The terrace is quiet and has a beautiful view, so you can take your breakfast or a cup of wine in the evening. La Dorada is a typical dalmatian stone house and its furniture is wooden hand made by local carpenter.
Please be advise that the house is on the sea side (down of the main road) so is not suitable for people with mobility disabilities because there are stairs.
We love the sea, the nature and traveling. Darko is a sailor and Andrea is a licensed tourist guide in Dubrovnik Old town. Trsteno is a special place for us and La Dorada is where we escape of routine and work. We decided to share this experience with the people who want to visit Dubrovnik and its surroundings and we are willing to give our best advices to make your stay unforgettable.
Trsteno is a very authentic and quite place where locals live. It is close enough to reach Dubrovnik but far enough to enjoy peace and nature and still not to be isolated. Trsteno has its own beach and pier. Its a beautiful place to take a walk or to exercise in open air.
