In the beautiful and quiet bay of Torac (Gdinj) there is apartment Lantana. There is 4 km of paved but narrow road that leads from Gdinj to the accommodation. Solar power is enough for home lighting and to charge your cell phone. No hair dryers, mixers or larger electrical appliances can be used. The fridge and the cooker run on gas, the water is supplied from the tank and is sufficient for guests at the property

Neighbourhood information

If you want to visit Gdinj, you will have to go to the eastern part of the island of Hvar, about 25 kilometers from Jelsa and Sućuraj. When you enter this small town, the first thing you will notice are the interesting complexes of stone houses with courtyards, olive groves and vineyards. It would also be interesting to visit the Fjori Fôra Garden - a garden that today has over 80 different plant species that can be found on the island. You will also have the opportunity to learn more about the history of the island of Hvar as there are several archaeological sites in Gdinj and its surroundings. You are also in the right place if you don't want to have company on the beach and enjoy swimming, sunbathing and resting with crickets and the sound of waves.
