It's been many, many years since we started visiting the beaches of different countries in order to find comfortable, beautiful places to stay. Many times we ran into walls because of our dogs, they were not welcome everywhere, even though they were really kept on a "short leash" and there are a lot of working hours in their upbringing and education. As a dog and a small child, our needs for accommodation changed, so we looked for a solution for ourselves and our friends.
The settlement of Privlaka seemed suitable, a calm, quiet family-friendly environment. There are plenty of attractions within a 50-kilometer radius, hiking opportunities, dog bathing opportunities, National Parks and wonderful cities. We bought 5 mobile homes, their installation was arranged by a Croatian company, so we started our vacation. You can now holiday with us with children, children and pets.

Location: Privlaka is located in the northern tip of Zára county, on a small (4 kilometers wide and 7 kilometers long) headland. It is one of the unique settlements in Croatia, as it is spread over a flat, sandy peninsula, so it is bordered on three sides by the sea and islands. Its attractiveness is further enhanced by the fact that it is a south-facing city, so you can enjoy for a long time each sunset that falls between the hills of the opposite islands.
There are nearly 300 sunny days per year, so the sun shines for up to 2,500 hours. Pirvlaka is an ideal holiday choice for families with small children, as the sea water on the shallow shores warms up to 25-27 degrees. The great summer heat is cooled by the pleasant breeze.
History of Privlaka:
The town has been inhabited since ancient times - there was a Roman garrison here - but the first written records mention it only in 1296. Even then as a vineyard estate. Two major holidays are held in the settlement, the Night of the Fishermen and the Night of the City. The fishermen set sail in mid-July and prepare the portage themselves in a festive setting in the main square. Privlaka night is held every year on August 8. It's city day.
