Neighbourhood information

Some of the most beautiful beaches in Istria are hidden around its northwestern part. Discover the Laguna Stella Maris, 800 meters from Rocca Riviera Apartment and surrounded by fragrant pine trees, which offer a variety of facilities. Below the promenade is Katoro beach, where you can have fun, as it offers various sports activities. The next beach that is a must-see is Sol Polynesia. Due to its outstanding maintenance, cleanliness, and rich content, Sol Polynesia has been awarded the Blue Flag Award. The beach is a combination of rock and sand. All of these beaches are easily accessible and run by a tourist train from the city center. Istria is well known for its 430 tennis courts, some of which are open all year round. The ATP Croatia Open is one of the most attractive international tennis tournaments and the oldest in Croatia with a tradition of 28 years. It is being held in July at the ATP Stadium in Umag and is located 700 meters from the apartment Rocca Riviera.
