Property information
In the lush green heart of Istria, in the village of Kringa, lies the impressive Villa Catarina. It has 3 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms and can accommodate up to 8 people on a total surface area of 160 m². The villa radiates traditional style and a warm atmosphere where guests will feel right at home. It is therefore the perfect holiday destination for the whole family, including pets, who will certainly enjoy the 3,000m² surrounding the villa.
The central part of the ground floor consists of an open space combining the living room, kitchen and dining room. The decor of the room is dominated by natural materials, mainly wood, and warm tones that contribute to a pleasant atmosphere. The living room, with its extendable sofa, is ideal for socialising and playing board games. On cooler evenings, enjoy a glass of wine by the crackling fire in the open fireplace. The wooden dining table in the center of the room can seat up to 8 people, and both sides of the table lead out to the covered terrace. The dining area continues into a traditional solid wood kitchen, which is fully equipped and has a kitchen counter that is perfect for preparing a morning cup of coffee in the company of your family or friends.
Guests have 3 bedrooms available, 1 on the ground floor and 2 on the first floor. The bedrooms are decorated in the same rustic style as the rest of the house. Neutral colours and wooden elements create a calming effect. For added comfort, each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom. If you wish to use part of your stay for "workation", which is becoming increasingly popular, there is a desk in each room. All bedrooms are of the same size and have double beds. Guests staying in one of the upstairs rooms can enjoy their own covered terrace with a table for 4 people and impressive views of the idyllic greenery overlooking three sides of the property. In addition to the en-suite bedrooms, there is a guest bathroom on the ground floor.

Take a stroll through your own little park within the property and follow the paths between the many trees, breathing in the fresh country air. The little ones will love the seesaw at the end of the path. Take a break on a charming wooden bench under the canopy across the pool and enjoy the views of the surrounding nature. The property also has a garage for up to 2 cars, which is equipped for charging electric vehicles.
You don't have to go far to explore Istria’s cultural heritage. The village of Kringa itself is rich in churches and artefacts from the Early Stone Age, and the legend of the first European vampire from Kringa is particularly interesting. For a trip to the pearls of Istria on the Adriatic coast, we recommend a visit to Poreč and Rovinj, towns with a rich cultural and historical heritage. If you want to explore the heart of this peninsula, don't miss a visit to the medieval town of Pazin. If you're more in the mood for natural beauty, climb to one of the many surrounding viewpoints or visit the famous Višnjan Observatory.
