The „Pelago“ apartment, recently renovated with taste and style on the first floor of the 18th century stone house. In the very center of Jelsa. Supermarkets, stores, restaurants and all vital services easilly accessed. With its 50 square meters the „Pelago“ apartment offers full comfort for two. Besides the two single bed bedroom there is a sofa bed in the great living room. Two more persons can comfortably sleep on it having complete privacy. Guests with a baby will be provided with the crib. The kitchen with a dining room has all necessary appliances to serve needs of a dozen of guests. The apartment's design is fully functional, comfortable and up-to-date. Its special feature are many household items from the past and restored antique furniture, recalling what was it like to live in old Dalmatian town houses. The apartment is a part of the 18th century baroque stone house surrounded by the court-yard wall, having the representative main entry and exterior stone stairs leading to the first floor. Being located in the very center of Jelsa, next to the port, it's surrounded by old stone houses and extraordinary cultural and historical monuments.

My family and I live in the Croatian capital Zagreb throughout the year. We spend every summer in our family house, in the flat on the second floor, above the daily-rent apartment. I am an art historian with business ties in Jelsa.

Supermarkets, stores, coffe bars, night clubs, restaurants, the public parking lot, the post office, banks, the pharmacy are all within few hundred meters of the apartment. There is no strict boundary between the urbanized space and the surrounding nature. To the east and west of Jelsa there are two roads winding through the pinewood. They are made for long walks, jogging, cycling. All the time you see, feel and smell the sea, choosing your beach for swimming tomorrow. The indented Jelsa's coast is also easy to discover when you put to sea by a rented boat or a canoe. Wherever you go, whatever you choose, sunlight, green pines, blue sea and special island smells will be around you.
