A charming, detached traditional house located in a small coastal neighborhood of Tisno, built in the 1960s, where each home has its own garden full of Mediterranean greenery, as well as a terrace and balconies. Just a few hundred meters from the sea, it is ideal for 4 guests. The greatest pleasures here are enjoying the view from the balcony or spending time on the spacious terrace in the shade of the green grapevine. PARKING (IMPORTANT): A free parking space for 1 car is available in the courtyard. The access road is narrow and steep, so please be mindful of your vehicle size: it should be small to medium-sized due to the narrow uphill road (with a tricky angle for longer vehicles) and the limited maneuvering space. It is not recommended for inexperienced drivers. Tip: Upon your first arrival in Tisno, we recommend parking your car for 1 hour on the main road (paid parking in certain times of the year) and walking to the house to assess whether you would like to park in the courtyard or use public parking for an additional fee.

The neighborhood in Tisno where the house “U Danice” is located is called Istočna Gomilica. It sits on a gentle hill, about 200 meters on foot from the sea. The area is characterized by architecture from the 1960s, a time when it was customary for every house to have its own yard and garden where vegetables were grown — and in many cases, are still grown today — for personal use: in the Dalmatian dialect, pomidori (tomatoes), kumpiri (potatoes), raštika (collard greens), bob (broad beans), čentruni (watermelons), cate (melons), cucumbers, biži (peas), and a variety of fragrant fresh natural delicacies and herbs. Many houses have retained their authentic charm to this day.
