Gornje Baredine 12 is a typical stone Istrian House, sympathetically restored in 2011. It sits in its own secluded grounds on the edge of a small hamlet, with outstanding views over the local hill towns such as Motovun and a direct view of Mount Ucka on the Kvarner coast. From the balconies there are sea views as well as views of the Julian Alps in Slovenia. The house has a 10 * 5m swimming pool and lots of shaded corners for when the sun is at its zenith. Since September 2022 we have been adopted by two very friendly local cats, Mary and Mungo. Please note that the cats live in the property year round so we would kindly ask all guests to feed them and hopefully look after them during your stay.
Gornje Baredine is a small hamlet, sitting on top of a hill about 230m above sea level with outstanding views out to the adriatic, to the Slovenian Alps and back over the Istrian peninsula. The area has lots of cycling and hiking trails and the sea is only 15 minutes drive away.
