This building used to be a local primary school. It was built more than 100 years ago. There used to be just two classrooms and two flats for the teachers' families. We bought it to save it from decay and fully renovated it.
I am working as a travel journalist in Budapest, but whenever I have time I go back to this area where I was born. My sister still lives nearby and she and her family do the daily routine aroud the guesthouse.
The guesthouse is located in the South-Eastern corner of the Great Hungarian Plain. The Roumanian border is very close. There is plenty to do and see there. You can go hiking and cycling, fishing or horse-riding. You can rent bikes from us, and we can help you organise fishing and horse-riding too.
