A rustic & comfortable 100 year old farm cottage, carefully renovated and decorated, allowing you to relax & unwind in one of the most beautiful parts of Lake Balaton. It is located in the famous wine area of Badacsony and in the immediate vicinity of the Káli-basin, acclaimed for its culinary character. There are many outstanding wineries and restaurants closeby, at the same time the area is most suitable for excursions through fields & forests as well. And the lake is only 5 minutes away! The cottage is best for 2 people, the layout is a living/sleeping area, a separate kitchen and a bathroom with toilet & shower. Next to the cottage, you will also have the garden and several terraces to yourself.

We (Dutch/Hungarian couple) are passionate & frequent travelers. THE REGION The Badacsony & Káli-basin region is famous for its wine and culinary character. Lake Balaton allows for swimming and watersports (not motorized, so safe and quiet). Within driving distance, you can visit attractive places like Tihany, Szigliget, Keszthely, Tapolca and Sümeg, to get a taste of Hungary, its history and local life. And the famous local Sunday farmers market in Káptalantoti is only 5kms away and cannot be missed. Wild Boar cottage is easily accessible by car. Badacsonyors has a train and bus stop from where it is a 15min walk (up). Several restaurants & wineries in the vicinity. Shopping can be done in Badaconytomaj. For a more extensive choice, Tapolca is 12 km away with a Spar, Lidl, Aldi, Tesco and more.
