Claudia is from Australia, loves the ocean, snorkelling, island living & yoga. Tragically her partner Made who created Meno Madia with her passed away in 2020 but his legacy lives on in the chilled & caring vibe at Meno Madia Soul. We are happy to welcome guests into our beautiful, simple, paradise island life.

Traditional grass-roofed bungalow homestay, each with its own garden space, privacy, tucked away on the edge of an island village in the middle of coconut fields, yet minutes walk from beautiful white sand beaches. Our garden is established & even in dry season there are plenty of trees and shade :). Please note, this is a bungalow on a tiny island in Indonesia, not a five star resort - we share the island with wildlife, roosters, goats, lizards, cows & cats, also insects which are sometimes unavoidable in these traditional bungalows. We do provide insect spray. NOTE: Our water is good clear local well-water, sometimes it is a bit salty. We do not offer daily cleaning in this rate, but fresh bedding & towels are provided as needed for long stays. Some nights we can hear the music from parties on the neighbouring islands Gili T & Gili Air, as unfortunately it carries across the whole island. Come to Meno, step back in time, step back into nature & relax. Enjoy the blend of island village life close to beautiful beaches.

Gili Meno is the least developed of the three "famous Gilis". It has a very laid-back vibe and pace of life, with local traditions continuing in the villages behind the beach. Snorkelling and diving are just as popular as relaxing, reading and swimming. The best snorkelling beaches are close by to our place, and there's plenty of good local style warung and fancy beachside restaurants within a few minutes walk. Gili Meno has a mosque in the southern part of the island, about 500 metres from our place, and you will hear the calls to prayer. To get to our place, head right (north) up the beach, turn left at the end of Meno Mojo Resort and follow that road inland. At the intersection turn right onto the main village road, at the next junction turn left onto the small dirt road. We are then 50 metres on your right. It's about a 15 minute walk in total, or you can take a horse and cart from the harbour. We can email you a simple map of the island and instructions on how to find us - just send us a request :)
