Self-catering accommodation, located in the heart of The Burren. We are members of Burren EcoTourism and hold Certificate in Sustainable Tourism. Great place to stay for couples, families and especially groups. We can accommodate groups of 32 guests, offering 16 en-suite bedrooms. Each apartment has a living room with kitchen, two bedrooms, two bathrooms with showers. Groups have private use of our communal rooms, that are reserved for groups to socialise together, during their stay. We are located in a quiet rural setting, at the top of Corkscrew Hill, only a short drive from the villages of Ballyvaughan, Kilfenora and Lisdoonvarna.
Our holiday accommodation is an ideal base location to stay, for visiting The Cliffs of Moher, Doolin, boat trip to Aran Islands, cruise under The Clifffs of Moher, Ailwee Burren Experience, Caherconnell Stone Fort & Sheepdog Demonstrations, Poulnabrone Dolmen and The Burren Perfumery, Dungaire Castle and Bunratty Castle. We are within 15 minutes drive from the coast, with many beautiful blue flag beaches and coastal walks. There are many things to do and see nearby, including bike tours, guided walks, surfing, sea kayaking, rock climbing and horse riding.
As each of our apartments has a kitchen, our guests can choose to cook for themselves, bring a picnic for days out or book a meal in one of the many excellent restaurants that are a short drive from Burren Court Lodge.
We are located within one hour drive of Galway City, 1 hour from Shannon Airport and 3 hours from Dublin.

We have very good local knowledge about things to see and do nearby, We hope that you have a wonderful time here and will do our best to ensure that you have a home away from home experience and are happy to give recommendations to our guests, on many things to see and do in the area.
We have collaborations with local activity providers, such as walking guides & electric bike tours. Surfing, Sea Kayaking, Rock Climbing, Horse Riding, Yoga are all available a short drive away.
There are a lot of cafes, pubs and restaurants to eat lunch, dinner or listen to live music and tradional Irish music nearby, in local villages.
Burren Court Lodge is located in the heart of the Burren and is an great base to visit The Cliffs of Moher GEOPARK, take a boat trip to Aran Islands, or enjoy a one hour cruise under The Cliffs of Moher. Come back in the evening to relax & enjoy the quiet & tranquility of this beautiful rural location. There are many visitor attractions a short 10 - 15 minutes drive away, such as The Burren Centre Kilfenora, Ailwee Cave and Bird of Prey Exhibition, Caherconnell Stone Fort and Sheepdog Demonstations and Poulnabrone Dolmen. There is a great choice of restaurants in local villages for lunch and dinner and live music most nights.
Burren Court Lodge is located between 3 quaint and very different villages; Ballyvaughan, Lisdoonvarna and Kilfenora, each a short 8km away. Ballyvaughan is a beautiful seaside village full of cottages, cafes and scenic walks for you to explore. A good combination for all weather! Lisdoonvarna is home to the world famous Match Making Festival, which happens every September. Kilfenora is legendary for it's traditional Irish music and pubs, as well as being a great starting point for exloring The Burren .
The Cliffs of Moher are a must-see, best enjoyed early mornings or late afternoon and especially at sunset. This is just a 20 minute drive from Burren Court. Doolin is just a stone's throw from there. We recommend all visitors to stop off in Doolin to enjoy the pub culture and music heritage.
