Falling in love with the beauty of Ireland, prompted us to move here from Spain and our organic philosophy of way of life encouraged us to promote an organic living as a lifestyle for us as a way we consider healthy for people and environment,
As for foods, organic means foodstuff that did not go through fertilization and pesticides. As for living, organic simply means a healthy lifestyle, much as the foods that are not processed with harmful chemicals.
We try to live in an organic way that does not only mean doing a healthy diet, but also doing good deeds for the earth
By doing good things responsibly, you can create and keep wonderful and rich places to live in and we try to encourage everyone to switch to an organic lifestyle, also promoting the use of organic household cleaning products.
As an organic accommodation we're not only going to offer you an organic breakfast but also the possibility of being wrapped up in organic bamboo bed linen and finding organic cotton towels and organic toiletries for your shower or bath.

Located along the Wild Atlantic Way and overlooking the Trawbreaga Bay and the Isle of Doagh, Madra Rua is the perfect place to set up your base camp to explore the delights of the Inishowen peninsula and its wild scenic coastline, part of the North West Region of Ireland, the most northerly area in the country.
Madra Rua is another way of saying Sionnach (fox in Irish language) what recalls the original name of our townland of Ráth Sionnaigh (Rashenny) which means The Fox Fort.
Our surroundings offer assorted places: cliffs, forests, beaches, lakes and mountains, all surrounded by the Atlantic ocean and the sand dunes, and also gorse and heather. Ever-changing with the seasons, hours and weather. You'll be able to observe the changes of the landscape with the seasons and the stars and northern lights in the sky.
Ideal whether it's for pleasure, family gatherings or special occasions, our house is conveniently located to enjoy a wide range of attractions and festivals available in the area: Ballyliffin Golf Club (2 Km), Isle of Doagh Famine Village (6 Km), Clonmany Music Festival (5 Km), Tullagh Bay (equestrian centre and surf school)... just to mention a few of them.
