Cahersiveen town offers a wide range of cafés, pubs and shops. Daniel O'Connell - the Liberator - was born just outside Cahersiveen, and the parish church, which is well worth a visit, is named in his honour.
Cahersiveen is a Baile Seirbhíse Gaeltachta, so you will have opportunities to practise your cúpla focal.
