The beautifully restored Garden House on The Lissadell Estate, Sligo, Ireland, one of the oldest houses on the 418 acre Historic Lissadell Estate, was the home and headquarters of the Estate Head Gardener, and is located adjacent to the walled Victorian Kitchen Garden created as a vegetable, herb and fruit garden in the 1840s.
The decoration of this house in the Victorian style, but also pays homage to the later Bloomsbury Group eras. The house is in a beautiful setting and surrounded with separate lawn areas, a 3,000 sq.ft. sun terrace which is a veritable suntrap, and highlighted by the Donegal gravel quartz drives.
Private access to the Lissadell Strand is a short walk through the Estate.
