Relax with the whole family at this peaceful idyllic rural holiday rental. Ideal place to to escape the busy modern world. The cottage has two bedrooms (one double bed/two single beds) comfortably sleeps four. Oil fired central heating in every room. Free WiFi (fibre broadband) throughout. Flat screen smart TV Open plan sitting room, fully fitted kitchen and dining area. Modern bathroom with power shower & bath. The property has a large enclosed garden area, including patio with picnic table & BBQ for fine days and a fire pit to take the chill out of the air on colder days! The holiday home is set next to the quaint village of Bonniconlon, Co.Mayo, nestling in the shadows of the Ox Mountains on the Mayo/Sligo border. Bonniconlon is a picturesque rural village on the R294 regional road. A short drive to the vibrant town of Ballina and the beautiful beach at Enniscrone The surrounding area is well known for its wild beauty. A network of outstanding recreational walking trails have been developed in the area (all the trails are suitable for mountain bike use) Kilgarvin Loop : 8 km Ellagh Loop: 9.5km Bonniconlon Loop: 20km Glenn Loop: 14km Drumsheen Loop: 7km Ballina is often refered to as the salmon capital of Ireland.
