Welcome to Pepper Nut Homestay, a serene retreat nestled beside the Thattekad forest area. If you’re looking for a peaceful escape from the city’s hustle and bustle, you’re in for a treat as you listen to the melodious songs of birds. Say goodbye to the hot and humid climate and embrace the Cherrapunji of Kerala, where we are blessed with year-round rainfall, with heavy downpours occurring from June to August.
Our homestay is situated on a 15-acre agricultural paradise, serving as a sanctuary for various crops like black pepper, areca nut, nutmeg, and tamarind. We have also cultivated a variety of local fruits and vegetables to delight your palate. To enhance your memorable experience, we have created a one-kilometre walking trail that encircles the entire property.
We are passionate about creating an unparalleled bird-watching experience for our guests. With expert guides and prime locations, you can look forward to spotting rare birds that you won’t find anywhere else, making your stay with us a true avian adventure. Our natural pond teems with various fish species you can feed, and you may even have the opportunity to spot rare butterflies during your stay.
