Featuring colonial furnishings, The Old Kent Estates is nestled amidst an expansive 200-acre coffee plantation in Suntikoppa. Home to a wide variety of flora and fauna, it offers a spa, a games room, and complimentary Wi-Fi access in its public areas. Spacious villas feature high ceilings and are fitted with a terrace opening out to the garden. They offer a flat-screen TV with cable channels, a wardrobe and a telephone. The en suite bathroom comes with a large standalone bathtub and a hairdryer. Gordon's Saloon is the in-house dining, while The Planter’s Perch offers an open air "Al-Fresco" dining experience. The restaurant serves local and seasonal cuisines and a variety of Indian, Anglo-Indian and continental delicacies. Fresh estate coffee is also available. Bonfires & BBQs can be arranged on request. The Lodge features a games room, library, home theater, dining, and an English rose garden with exciting plantations and trekking activities. Individual cottages include a private garden. Old Kent is located about 14 km from Mercara (Madikeri) and the property is a two hour drive from the historic city of Mysore. The property is located 283 km from the Bangalore airport while the Mangalore airport is 156 km. Situated in Coorg, Old Kent is accessible to all major places of interest. It is 24 km from Kushalnagar and 20 km from Dubare Elephant Camp. Madikeri is 13 km away, while the Golden Temple at the Tibetan Settlement is 25 km away.
