Host Information

Tusti Homestay is a home away from home for travellers. Situated in one of the oldest residential area one gets the feeling of staying in a suburbs but not too far away from the city center at the same time. The Banks of Brahmaputra are not far away and the hills of Kharguli are behind us. Its a safe and secure place for travellers looking to explore the city and the northeast.
I am a free lance finance professional. Hosting happened to me after my last tenants left our house in a shabby state, both my and my husband decided to convert our property into a Homestay. We ourselves love travelling and staying in homestays.
We are a small Homestay situated in the kharguli area which is one of the best residential places in Guwahati. Not far from the banks of Brahmaputra river. Our are has a serene feeling of a suburban place but yet close to the city center. Since we are close to the river Brahmaputra one can enjoy the beautiful sunrise and sunset at the banks of Brahmaputra. We have a decently sized grocery shop next to us. Restaurants are available within walking distance of our Homestay. We have a park close by where the local kids play every evening. Ours is a safe locality as it an old locality. We ourselves stay in the floor above our Homestay. Ours is a pretty safe and secure compound yet with a homesly atmosphere.
