The apartment is just a 13-minute drive from Akureyri on the second floor of a newly built part of the farm and offers stunning views over the fjord and the surrounding landscape.

We’re Hugrún and Einar, a married couple who have called this beautiful farm home for the past 23 years. Our farm is alive with Icelandic horses and sheep, and surrounded by the peaceful charm of the countryside. Einar wears many hats—he’s a teacher, a farmer, and an artist. His art gallery is located just below the apartment, in the basement. Hugrún is a nurse who works in Akureyri and has a deep love for gardening, something guests often notice and enjoy when they visit. In 2017, we built this cozy little apartment, and we’ve been welcoming guests during the summer months ever since. It’s truly been a joy to meet people from all over the world and share a bit of our life here on the farm. We hope you’ll feel at home here and enjoy the peaceful, relaxing atmosphere we’ve created.

We are few minutes from Skógarböðin, one of the most popular local attraction in the area. People like petting the horses on the farm and see the beautiful mountain view surround the farm.
