I was born 1959. I'm married and have four children and six grandchildren. I have lived in Akureyri, Reykjavík and Denmark. I have worked as teacher and principal for 30 years but now I'm a yogateacher and guesthouse owner. My interests are handiwork, hiking, reading and yoga. This is a home stay, I live in the house with my husband. I am renting out four rooms. My property is beautiful house in the country side with a great mountain view and as well a view over the ocean. Location is very close to Akureyri (9 km) and good for a day trips f.x. to Mývatn, Dettifoss, and Húsavík. In the neighboorhood there is a golf-course, swimming pool, horse rental, hiking trails and vegan diner. You can have access to kitchen for light meals and heat something in the oven or in the microwave. Coffee and tea are free. Just ask if you have any questions.

My neighborhood is really wonderful. I live in the countryside where I can see horses, birds and nature in all its glory, different after seasons.I can hike, walk and run in my neighborhood as well as go to restaurants, cinema and cultural events in Akureyri where it takes only 10 minutes to drive to Akureyri, the capital of the north. I love the mountains, the river and nature in my neighborhood.
