Our summer house is named ​​Lukka - meaning Happyness The Cabin offers stunning views to Mount Hekla and across the whole south of Iceland. Surrounded by a small forest, framed by the famous fishing river Eystri Rangá which runs next to the cabin. The house itself is cosy and comfortable. There is a fully equipped kitchen, gaas grill, fireplace, and a Jacuzzi with hydromassage. There are inside and outside showers and a special loft with a Smart TV and a sleeping sofa. During the winter nights the NORTHERN LIGHTS shimmer most nights. The house is situated within driving distance from some of the most spectacular places to visit while in Iceland. Both in the south coast of iceland as well as the highlands (with the Natural pool of Landmannalaugar 40 km away) Within 30 min drive there are swimming pools, a golf course as well as a gym (there is also gym equipment at the house) The place is quiet and secluded. A perfect place to recharge. Relaxing in the hot tub after a day trip or enjoying a glass of wine on the patio to the sound of the nearby river. The house is a 100 km drive from Reykjavik

I am a Theater and Opera director that works internationally. I travel a lot for work and when Im away from Iceland I like to share my Cabin with others. Give others the possibility to enjoy the cozy cabin, the nice Terrasse and the relaxing hot tub in these sublime surroundings.

The house is located near Mount Hekla close to some of natural pearls of Iceland. There are some of the worlds best hiking trails in the within 50 km from the Cabin. Landmannalaugar, Burfell, Mount Hekla and Þjórsárdalur. And with in hour drive some of the most stunning natural pearls of Iceland; Seljalandsfoss, Gullfoss, Geysir, Skogar and Thorsmörk. The house is on private land so there is free parking. There is also the possibility of charging an electric vehicle (you will have to bring the charging cable) Notice: During the winter months (November to March) you will need a 4 x 4 car. Preferably a jeep.
