My apartment is part of a farm which dates from the end of the 1800 century. Agri Domus is based in a building which was originally a dairy and a granary and also the farm manager's house.
The farm is still working and nowadays we seed mainly cereals and grass for hay. We also have a small breeding herd of pure-bred Piemontese cows for producing high-quality beef.
The apartment has a large sleeping room with a double bed and a standard single bed (it is possible to add a baby cot, or a small bed for young children). There is also a very small children's bedroom with a bunkbed, a bathroom with shower, a large kitchen/living room and utility room. The kitchen
has a fridge, gas cooker, microwave oven, washing maschine. No breakfast is served
Wi-fy is available.
To get to the apartment, on the first floor, there are some stairs with 20 steps.
The accommodation has everything you need, towels, bed linen, tablecloth, ceramic plates, frying pans, kitchen utensils, etc, plus everything for cleaning the apartment. Air conditioning and heating is also provided and there is a large car park.

As for myself, I feel that I have deep roots in this place. My great grandfather built
the property and I worked with the dairy herd with my father for 25 years before farming
here on my own account and I could never envisage living anywhere else.
I like all animals but cows are my passion and I now breed Piemontese beef cows and Jack russell terriers. My son John has inherited my passion for animals and he loves to help on the farm and
breeds love birds as a hobby.
My hobbies are reading, the cinema and theatre, and enjoying the culture of my my beautiful country. We also go walking in the nearby mountains and I am a member of a cultural group in
Rome that organizes special visits to unusual places of interest.
As a family we have a small organic kitchen garden, the produce from which we are happy to share with our guests, and we also produce our own olive oil.
My husband is British and my three children are bilingual, with my daughter Emma also speaking
fluent Spanish and French..

Information on the area
My area is famous for the three World Heritage villas - Villa Adriana, the country home of the Romen emperor Adriano, Villa D'Este, which is known for its fountains, and Villa Gregoriana, situated by Tivoli's waterfall.
Also famous is the monastery of Subiaco, which is built it on the grotto where Saint Benedict spent
his years of solitary contemplation before going on to found the Benedictine Order.
Another attraction since Roman times are the thermal baths with sulphur water, which are available in the summer just 4 km from Agridomus. The white travertine marble which was used to build
Rome is only found locally and has been quarried here for over 2,000 years.
Tivoli is rich in shops, restaurants and bars, and there is plenty of cultural activity during the whole
year. There are many other places of interest too numerous to mention, but you will enjoy
discovering these for yourself.
