Basegò is located in Sant'Erasmo an island in the northern part of the Venice Lagoon.
The island is connected to Venice and Treporti by public water bus (line No. 13)
My wife and I have decided to renovate the old farmhouse where I was born and raised, transforming it into Basegò, where the rooms have the name of “my” herbs and where it is possible to enjoy the serenity of an unusual country side, far from mass tourism, but only three stops away by vaporetto from Venice.
The island, which extends for about 4 square kilometers, has an elongated shape and a circular viability. It is possible to visit it by one of the bikes that we make available to our guests, or on foot and is perfect for jogging. A ride of about 20 minutes will take you to a small beach or to the pizzeria, in 10 minutes you will reach one of the vaporetto stops that allow connections with Venice and the other islands of the lagoon, in 6 minutes you will reach the church and the minimarket.
