The bucolic structure once led by the Benedictine monks has medieval origins and dates back to 1143. A place full of rustic charm, it is ideal as a reference point to visit the numerous castles of the Duchy as well as Busseto with the Verdi lands. Nearby are the museum of Don Camillo and Peppone in Brescello, and the medieval village of Sabbioneta. In a strategic position both to reach the Parma fairs and to the A1 motorway exit of Parma.
