+++ Please note that additional heating costs may be incurred during the cold seasons or on your personal demand. The flat is heated with a pellet stove. We provide you with sufficient pellets during your stay. A bag of pellets of 15 kg each costs 6,- Euro. The bill will be paid in cash on the day of your departure. +++ Our Apartment Casa Alba is situated in the small, quaint mountain village of Livo, above Gravedona ed Uniti, on the north-western shore of Lake Como. The flat Casa Alba is on the second floor of a more than 300 years old stone house. The rustico is situated at the upper end of the village, directly on the edge of a chestnut grove. Like most of the buildings in Livo, the stone house has the characteristics of rural Comascer architecture. The accommodation is ideal for 2-3 persons (2 p. + 1 p.). There is a cosy little double bedroom with a bunk bed and another bedroom with a single bed. Of course there is also a bathroom with shower and toilet, an open plan living room with kitchen and a balcony with a fantastic view. CIR: 013130-LNI-00001

From the flat you can start wonderful smaller trips as well as more demanding hiking tours in the partly wild and untouched nature of the local surroundings. The rustic mountain village Livo with its many old stone houses is also worth exploring. In the centre of the village you will find the Bar-Trattoria Sant'Anna, which is well known beyond the borders of the region and is well frequented in all seasons. And for the daily need of breakfast rolls, cheese and sausages there is a small alimentari in Livo. There is also a small market every Wednesday. Livo is about 15 minutes from Gravedona ed Uniti, the nearest village on the shores of Lake Como. Gravedona ed Uniti is not only one of the most picturesque places on the coast of the northern part of Lake Como, but also has many cultural and artistic attractions to offer. In addition to this there are a number of shopping facilities as well as bars, restaurants, banks, shoe and jewellery shops, bakeries and café patisseries.
