The Gruppo Montenegro was founded in 2013 with the Bar Albergo Montenegro, a historic hotel and meeting point for the Maniaghesi (people from Maniago) since the 1970s. Gabriele, the owner, master pastry chef and chef, over the years has made himself known above all for artisan pastry and managed to open two other places: the Pasticceria Montenegro in Pordenone and the Antica Osteria Vittoria in Montereale Valcellina. The Gruppo montenegro is a family-run company whose priority is the quality of its products and the customer's satisfaction. The characteristic of the company is being very diversified: in addition to the hotel reception activity and the production of artisan pastry, the Gruppo Montenegro stands out in the proposal of carefully selected food and wine products in all its premises. At the main building, the Montenegro Hotel in Piazza Italia in Maniago, it is also possible to eat at the Ristorantino Da Tavin, a restaurant serving typical Friulian cuisine.
