Great starting point to explore the Monte Ortobene, the wonders of Barbaricina, the museums of Nuoro or the Gulf of Orosei about 50 minutes drive. Monte Ortobene is an ancient granite mountain that, in addition to a rich flora and wildlife, preserves stories, traditions and ancient legends to discover. At the top visible from the city, you can admire the large statue of the Redeemer, from which takes its name the Festival of the Redeemer represented by a parade of costumes, songs and traditional dances of all the Sardinian countries.
