Company information

After a few years working around Europe in conventional finance careers, my wife and I decided to move to Italy to bring the old family estate back to life. The estate has been in our family for many generations, first as a family residence and farming estate, and more recently we have converted part of the villas for holiday rentals. Besides hospitality, we produce wine, olive oil and many other things on the estate, and put all our passion in managing the land with regenerative organic practices.

Property information

Villa Volpi is a beautiful recently renovated villa standing on top of a hill with 360° views of the Tuscan hills. Spacious rooms, incredible views and lots of amenities make it a truly special place to enjoy the beauty of the Tuscan countryside. A short 15-minutes drive from Lucca and easily accesible from the main international airports of the region, it is an ideal base to discover Tuscany.

Neighbourhood information

The village of Ponte a Moriano, a 5-minutes' walk from the house, is typical of the Tuscan countryside with its weekly farmer's market, bars and shaded terraces serving coffees and ice cream and traditional restaurants. It also offers all kinds of services and shops such as banks, post office, pharmacy, grocery stores, tennis courts, etc. It is also an idea starting point for the numerous walks into the surrounding hills such as the one that leads to the famous Angelo convent. The historic city centre of Lucca is only 7km away and can easily be reached with public transport, by car and by bicycle.
