The house is located in one of the most emotional places on the island, "Baia di Cala Rossa", its unique landscape, the whole generated by the transcendent archaism of the territory, with the presence of the tufo stone quarries, the view that opens to the infinite, from the island of Levanzo to the Sicilian coast with life Erice-Trapani, up to Marsala. The restructuring is born from the comparison on the place of absolute beauty, repulsive of every artificial element that would contaminate it. As a result, the choice was to respect the building in its entirety. The outer tufo stone has been restored to its ancient beauty, the dry stone walls recovered entirely by hand by local artisans. The interiors are characterized by a modern Mediterranean, the large windows are the real paintings, which offer to guests unforgettable views. A comfortable outdoor veranda, surrounded by 9000 square meters of Mediterranean scrubland that extends to the sea, complete the house.

With my husband Paolo, we are the lucky owners of this magical place on the island of Favignana. We fell in love with this island back in 1992, discovered during our honeymoon. We came back many times, it was our "Ithaca"; the landscape exercised a deep fascination in us and we promised to establish a strong bond with the Favignana Island. So it was, when we found this ruin (maybe it was he who found us), we could not resist. We only ask to love and respect it as we do, sure to make our guests dream in one of the most beautiful places in Favignana, Italy.
