Discover Larciano Castello and Its Surroundings My holiday home is ideally located in the peaceful and picturesque setting of Larciano Castello, a charming medieval village nestled in the Tuscan hills, surrounded by olive groves, vineyards, and postcard-worthy panoramic views. Here, time seems to slow down, offering a truly authentic experience of relaxation and connection with nature. In the surrounding area, you'll find everything you need to make the most of your stay: tennis courts, football and five-a-side pitches, and for wellness lovers, swimming pools and spa centers, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring or cultural visits. If you enjoy outdoor sports, there are also golf courses set in the lush countryside—ideal for combining leisure and nature. The location is also strategic for visiting some of Tuscany’s most iconic cities, such as Florence, Pisa, Lucca, and Pistoia, all easily reachable by car. But the real charm is right here: among stone alleys, ancient castles, and the warm hospitality of a place that has preserved its authenticity over time.
Nice to meet you, I’m Carmelo! I’m a passionate traveler, always eager to discover new cultures and places. Every journey has enriched and inspired me, and today I’m happy to share that experience with the guests I welcome into my home. I love music—from rock to jazz, from blues to almost any genre with soul—and I believe, just like travel, music has the power to bring people together. I deeply value genuine friendship, built on sincere sharing and true listening. One of my greatest passions is interior design: I enjoy creating spaces and furniture that tell a story and make everyone feel welcome and at ease. For me, hosting isn’t just about opening a door—it’s about offering a real experience, filled with care, respect, and those small details that make a big difference. I truly look forward to welcoming you—sharing a little piece of my life will be a real pleasure!
Between Sport, Nature, and History: Welcome to Larciano Castello Nestled in the peaceful hills of Tuscany, Larciano Castello is the perfect destination for those looking to combine relaxation, scenic beauty, and outdoor activities. The area offers a wide range of sports facilities: tennis courts, football and five-a-side pitches, swimming pools, spas and wellness centers, as well as beautiful golf courses surrounded by nature. Cycling enthusiasts will find a true paradise here, with numerous panoramic bike routes—ideal for both leisurely rides and more challenging adventures. It’s no coincidence that the Giro d’Italia often passes through this area, drawing cycling fans from all over the world. And if you're in the mood for the sea, the Tuscan coast is less than an hour away, perfect for a swim or a relaxing day at the beach. Larciano Castello is a small medieval hamlet, home to just about ten families, set at 165 meters above sea level on the gentle slopes of Montalbano. Surrounded by olive groves and rolling hills, it’s the ideal setting for a peaceful retreat in a place where time seems to slow down. Once a strategic medieval fortress, used by the people of Pistoia as a watchtower, Larciano Castello still retains its historic charm. Every year, the village comes alive during the Medieval Festival, a historical reenactment organized by the local Pro Loco Association with the patronage of the Municipality of Larciano. The cobbled streets fill with nobles, knights, jesters, warriors, and flag throwers, bringing the past to life. The event culminates in the Palio De lo Marzocco, featuring games and competitions inspired by medieval times. A place where history meets wellness, sport blends with nature, and every stay becomes a cherished memory.
