The "Dietroserra home" ( CIR 19087053C261141) and "Il Gelso di Dietroserra" (CIR 19087053C206068) are located in the Municipality of Viagrande, about 1 km from the town, at the foot of Monte Serra, inserted in the context of a typical Sicilian house, set in a beautiful Mediterranean landscape. They offer impressive sea views, from Taormina to Catania, overlooking the eastern side of Mount Etna. Equipped with every comfort, they are the ideal place to enjoy your relaxation surrounded by nature. The "Dietroserra" house consists of a large living room with kitchenette, a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and two bathrooms. It can accommodate six people. The house "Il Gelso di Dietroserra" consists of a large living room with kitchenette, a double bedroom, and a bathroom. It can accommodate 4 people. The houses are finely furnished and cared for in every detail. The guests of the structure can use the barbecue, the above ground swimming pool located next to a splendid park shaded by centuries-old trees and the parking space. Use of the swimming pool is seasonal. Taking into account the weather conditions, we usually open it in April and close it in October. The tourist tax established by the Municipality of Viagrande is due. The payment of the tourist tax must be made directly to the manager of the accommodation facility.

Some years aga we have realized these Holiday houses with the primary purpose of hosting people from all over the world, eager to visit our beautiful Sicily or looking for a quiet and relaxing holiday. Our main task is to do everything to make their stay a pleasant one, ready to satisfy as far as possible their claims.

Right in front of the holiday home is the Etna Museum which introduces you to the world and history through photos of volcanoes, thematic rooms, multimedia and 3D representations. The space dedicated to the Butterfly House, right next to the Museum, is suggestive. It is a tropical greenhouse where hundreds of specimens, among the most beautiful and extraordinary in the world, fly freely to be admired. Behind the house, moreover, there is the Monte Serra Park which offers nature trails, entertainment for children, educational workshops, ski slopes and tubing. Within 10 minutes you can reach the picturesque fishing villages of Santa Tecla, Aci trezza and Acicastello that are characterized by beaches of lava rocks. Then in a short time you can also reach the baroque town of Acireale, the city of Catania and the volcano Etna, where you can do guided excursions. Moreover the beautiful Taormina is half an hour away.
