Nestled in the heart of Scicli, Casina Panta Rhei is a cozy, two-floor tiny house designed for comfort and tranquility. Its name, meaning “tiny house” in Italian and “everything flows” in Greek, reflects its peaceful energy. The ground floor has a small kitchen and a living area with an armchair-bed for a child or a third guest. Upstairs, a cozy bedroom, bathroom, and balcony. The private balcony on this floor is the highlight, flooded with soft morning light. It's an ideal spot for breakfast or an evening aperitif, surrounded by the sweet scent of a jasmine tree, its blossoms adding a special touch to the serene atmosphere.
Sicily's beautiful beaches are a short drive away, offering a perfect day for those wanting to enjoy the sea and stunning coastal views. In addition, several local restaurants and tavernas are just around the corner, offering a taste of authentic Sicilian cuisine and culture.
Casina Panta Rhei is more than just a place to stay; it’s a tiny sanctuary where you can embrace the flow of life. Whether you're savouring the peaceful balcony, preparing a meal in the kitchen, this home offers the perfect balance of comfort, style, and a connection to the beautiful rhythms of Sicily.
My heart is Sicilian, but I’ve been living abroad for almost 20 years—first in China and now in a small village in the Netherlands with my daughter, Reya. Her name means "flow" and inspired the name Casina Panta Rhei.
I love the color green, the feeling of movement and stillness, and everything that lies between these two extremes, along with the practice of yoga.
"Everything flows" is my motto, guiding me through life with openness and ease.
