"Casa Bella" is an ancient villa, built in 1796, surrounded by the beautiful Florentine hills. The villa had been built by the monks of the nearby monastery of Montesenario to host the numerous pilgrims who came from Florence; at that time they had to walk a day and a half to go from Florence to this famous sanctuary. "Casa Bella" was built to allow people to sleep and eat, and the day after they could continue their journey. The location offers an oasis to relax in the beautiful countryside of Florence and it's only 17 km from the historic center of Florence. The refurbishment of this house was completed few months ago, respecting the traditions and spirit of the period in which it was built . There is a panoramic swimming pool, 14x7 meters, from which you can admire a breathtaking landscape. The pool is located next to the Villa Casabella, where the apartaments are located.
