Fonte de 'Medici is a village dating back to 1400, is located in the heart of the Chianti Classico, set in vineyards, the Antinori family that in these areas produce some of his best-known wines: Tignanello and Solaia. It owes its name to a small fountain that is refreshed pilgrims on the way from Florence to Rome: the nearby Badia a Passignano, then a powerful Benedictine monastery testifies to the ancient importance of these areas. The proximity of both Florence and Siena, the beauty of the Chianti countryside and its gastronomic qualities, the selected furnishings and careful hospitality make Fonte de 'Medici a unique place. In this small historical village characteristic of the Chianti, with stone houses, colored plaster and a small square with a chapel countryside, Fonte de 'Medici has its heart: the reception, the "Trattoria della Fonte", the tennis court and swimming pool outside that complement the apartments, all in the countryside, with views towards the vineyards of Tignanello and further away the Valley Pesa.
