Located in a picturesque corner of Castelli Romani, this cozy hillside villa has a little bit of everything. Its surrounding area is famous for its rich history, beautiful scenery and exquisite food and wine. Since Ancient Roman times, the area’s cool climate has been a magnet for aristocrats and noblemen, with the Popes themselves having a summertime residence in nearby Castle Gandolfo (20 km away from the villa).
The house was first built in the 19th century but underwent a complete renovation in 2014. It now boasts an elegant pool and jacuzzi, an on-site SPA area and sports-ready playground to go with its beautiful olive garden and 5000-sqm orchard.
Blending the best of traditional Italian handiwork and modern amenities, the villa boasts high wooden ceilings and warm parquet floors. The thick walls ensure that temperatures stay warm in the winter and cool in the summer, while the villa’s large windows allow plenty of light and air to enter the household, creating an almost magical atmosphere.
Guests have full private access to the villa and the adjacent garden.
The house has 4 separate bedrooms, 3 of which have their own bathroom. Common areas include a kitchen with an adjoining terrace, a bright dining room, a large living room with a fireplace and a panoramic window opening up to the garden, a lounge that can be used as an office or children's room and 1 shared bathroom.
The well-kept garden is covered in lawn and has several seating arrangements. Meanwhile, the pool and jacuzzi area comes with an outdoor shower and sun loungers where you can hide in the shade of an olive tree on a hot summer day. The SPA area itself is located near the pool and includes a detached house with two saunas - wet and dry, a bathroom, a shower and a relaxation room. Finally, the playground in the garden has everything you need to jump right into a game of football, volleyball or badminton (all the necessary equipment is available to guests on-site).
