We are a British/American couple who have fallen in love with Italy and live between Venice, The Dolomites & Puglia with our two boys. All of our places are where we stay and are made with love not generic rentals made for tourists... If you have any problems with your stay please first consult the house manual. If that doesn't answer your question then message us on the Airbnb app or contact Rocco (his number is in the house manual). If it's an emergency then call us (we turn of phones off when we go to bed). Call 112 if you need an ambulance, fire or police. Rocco or his son will also come some afternoons to water the plants . From time to time the grass needs to be cut.

Il Cubetto (means small cube) is a lovingly converted garage situated behind the main house ‘Il Grillo'. Nestled in an olive grove it has its own private entrance and mediterranean garden. It is situated in the heart of the Salento and is close to many of Puglia’s most beautiful beaches . The small space is complimented by a good size outdoor area. Il Cubetto is a design gem made by local artisans. It is the perfect place for a couple to explore Salento's magical sea, food and culture.

Situated in the heart of the Salento and close to some of Puglia's most beautiful beaches (the nearest is 7km). The property is just outside Spongano (2.5km) a charming place with bars, restaurants, and supermarkets. About 1.5km in the other direction is a large shopping centre. There are wonderful places to buy fresh fish (we sometimes buy directly from the fisherman after days at the beaches in Galipolli) and great restaurants in the area- all recommended in the guest pack in the house. Renting a car is advised as public transport is not widely available in the area. This is easiest to do at the airport or in Lecce. For anybody with bikes you can arrive in Spongano by train and then bicycle the 2km to the house.
