Il Grottino il located in the village of Valiano, near Montepulciano in Tuscany. A rental car is a must for enjoying the surrounding countryside and nearby hilltop towns and villages. Cortona (Under the Tuscan Sun fame), Perugia, Pienza, and Castiglione del Lago are all within a 30 minute drive or less. Florence is one hour away by car, and Siena 45 minutes.
We love the idea of sharing this beautiful apartment with those who love Italy. Our in country host is wonderful and will be available to meet your needs.
Valiano is a small village on a hill in Tuscany. There are many beautiful hill towns close by, but a rental car is a must since public transport is scarce. Il Grottino is within walking distance of a convenience store, bar/caffe, upscale restaurant, hair salon, park, post office, pharmacy and local winery.
