Located just an hour from Rome, our tranquil hillside retreat offers relaxation, exploration, and connection with nature. This fully equipped apartment provides comfort, while our amenities like the large pool, gym, Pilates studio, calisthenics park and lounge ensure a memorable stay. There is also a vegetable garden and many beautiful hiking trails around. Our property includes one hectare of beautiful nature, where we balance human comforts with ecology. We run our vegetable garden according to organic and permaculture principles, and have plans to create a food forest, a pond and 'hugelkultur' bed. We are Dylan and TK. We have traveled the world in search of the perfect spot to set up our project and to call home. And now here we are in beautiful Umbria. We had been living in Amsterdam for the past 14 years, working hard and making every decision with our head. Instead of doing what felt right, we did what we thought was best. This wasn’t sustainable, and it was clear we needed to make some drastic changes. So we decided to follow our hearts and feel from the gut. Of course, we did check with our brain from time to time to see if we weren’t doing anything really stupid Our hearts and minds being in solid agreement, this is where we have wound up! TK is a personal trainer, aerial silks, calisthenics and pilates teacher. Dylan welcomes tourists, takes care of the property and is passionate about organic gardening / permaculture / regenerative agriculture.

Visit local wineries, olive oil producers as well as nearby ancient picturesque towns such as Amelia and Narni. Be amazed by stunning natural sights such as San Silvestro Park, the Cascate delle Marmore Waterfalls and Piediluco Lake. Drive into the gorgeous Ternana valley nearby to visit the provincial capital of Terni to do some shopping, and have some excellent Italian food there or in medieval San Gemini. This relatively undiscovered part of Italy has so much to offer! And in addition to Rome, you are also within striking distance of famous towns such as Spoleto, Trevi, Spello, the pilgrimage site of Assisi (home of St. Francis) as well as Norcia and the historic papal refuge of Viterbo.
