La Casa di Dario is located less than a mile (1200 meters) from the closest beach but far from the crowd. It is the perfect place to reconciliate with life. Have your meal in the patio and a glass of wine at sunset on the terrace right before a barbeque. Take it easy. In winter the crackling in the fireplace turns your evenings in unforgattable magic moments. Take the chance tto discover the countryside and to know our history. IMPORTANT: our area is not served by public acqueduct, so tap water cannot be drunk: in the kitchen you will find a 30-liter tank filled with cliean water. Advise when it is almost empty so that I can refill it. I will have to water the fruit trees and plants in the garden dayly. We will arrange together the right moment to do that. Environment matters to us. We strongly encourage our guests to a diligent reyicle. An extra-cost may apply in case of a faulty or missing recycle. Please do not smoke within the premises. Pets are not allowed. Please do not make any noise after midnight.

I love swimming, scuba diving, fishing, sailing and any activity sea related. I will be happy to share with you the beauties of my place. Puglia is not just beach eather. How about visiting wineries, extra vergin olive oil producers or tasting great local cheese with Primitivo red wine right in the farm where they are made? I like good food and good wine, who doesn't? Well, here you will find the freshest fruit, vegetable and fish ever. I can cook for you if you want.

La Casa di Dario is perfectly located so to visit a great part of Apulia region and further. I definitely recommend the Old Town of Taranto. Visit the city center of Manduria and sip its worldwide known Primitivo red wine. Go to Grottaglie and visit its ceramics factories. Matera, European Capital of Culture 2019 is at 1h30' car ride. Do not miss it! The fisher island of Gallipoli of course. Than Lecce, nicknamed the Florence of the South due to its baroccan style buildings. Take a mud bath at Santa Cesarea hot springs. Visit the most beaufiful caves in the world at Castellana Grotte. Book a seat at the Opera Festival of Martina Franca. Than Ostuni, Otranto, Polignano a Mare and much much more.
