HR Hotel & Spa is just off the beach in Piano di Sorrento, 800 metres from the Circumvesuviana Train Station. It offers a modern spa and a rooftop terrace with a hot tub and panoramic sea views. Rooms have a classic design. All air-conditioned, they also feature satellite TV and a private bathroom with toiletries. Breakfast is buffet style and includes sweet Italian food. The restaurant serves a combination of international food and specialities from the Campania region. La Ripetta has a sun terrace with sun loungers and deck chairs, open during summer. Piano di Sorrento Train Station is on the Circumvesuviana line for trains to Sorrento, Pompeii and Naples. From Sorrento, you can catch a boat to the island of Capri.
