The whole house was built by a local family original from Stresa since ever . The house has 3 apartments on 3 different levels. When the entire building was built this was the owner apartment so the biggest one and also the most beautiful. The last daughter was not married and no children so she started to sell the apartments one by one. I was already living on the second floor and when she sold out her level i decided to buy it and restore it. So i made this beautiful apartment and i lived 10 years in it, for this reason you can tell that it has a very personal touch. I restored the second floor, which is smaller, and decided to move there and rent the main one with its beautiful terrace and a back balcony which is like an open air but sheltered sitting room. The house is very sunny and you will be able to enjoy it during most of the time above all in spring and fall, during the summer we have the awning to shade it but this is the best time to relax in the back balcony. You will feel at home and enjoy the beautiful pre Alps view from the terrace with the oleander trees. You will be my most welcome guests.

I have always been involved in tourism industry since when i was young. Soon after my degree in English and French and started traveling accompanying tourists groups all over the world. I am still doing this job but now i welcome english speaking guests in Italy traveling through my whole country and i work with a major tour operator. The area is very interesting, it became famous following the stay of English Queen Victoria during the end 19th century. You have a lot of villas with botanical and beautiful flowers gardens, we are just facing the Alps, not far from Switzerland. We also have a good train connection with the city of Milan the economical capital of Italy very good for Shopping or worthy anyway a visit.. Many local trips are available on the lake Maggiore, the Isola Bella of noble Borromeo Family or to vista the alps with The Cento Valli little train going down to the swiss city of Locarno and much more. If you are coming without car you have public transports connection by bus, train or boats. Landscapes and history are combined in a quiet place where you can also take the chance to relax. An highlight of Italy to be seen at least once, and maybe you will return for your relaxing holidays in the future. Stresa is the Pearl of the lake with its many restaurants and facilities, and a long garden walking path facing the lake and the Isola Bella.
