Our masseria, a 1600s cottage passed from father to son for generations, is located among olive trees, prickly pears and laurel trees, tall as trees are. Today this old peasant house has become a refuge open to those who love our land and its traditions. As in the past, sheets smell of clean, the real flavors come out of the kitchen and everything is pervaded by the sense of welcome and generosity of mum Enza. She believed the rooms had to be always ready and the table set, in case a relative, a friend, or a neighbor came to visit her. This is what it once was and still is.
